8 Decent Week 8 RB Fill Ins

With 6 teams on bye weeks and injuries occurring these are some running backs you should consider picking up who are probably available in your 10 team league.
(Ranked in order of my projected points for them this week)
RB rankings for wk 8 here: http://fantasyfootballguideguys.blogspot.com/2013/10/week-8-qb-and-rb-rankings.html

1. Jacquizz Rodgers (70% owned) - He is probably owned in your league, but maybe not. I expect Rodgers to get the majority of carries, even if S Jax makes his return this week, and also he will catch some passes and score.
Wk 8 Proj: 16 carries - 68 yards   4 catches - 44 yards  (% sure he'll score TD: 60%)

2. Joseph Randle (49% owned) - Randle got 17 carries last week and put up 65 yards.  I expect about the same carries and yardage but for him to score this week.
Wk 8 Proj: 16 Carries - 62 yards   3 catches - 22 yards   (% sure he'll score TD: 40%)

3. Peyton Hillis (2% owned) - Only 2% owned!  He is almost certainly available in your league and got the majority of carries last week as well as a goal line TD.  I expect another goal line TD this week.
Wk 8 Proj: 13 carries - 45 yards   2 catches - 19 yards   (% sure he'll score TD: 65%)

4. Andre Ellington (18% owned) - He had two rough week against two of the best run Ds in SF and SEA, but now he faces ATL and he should have success yardage wise.
Wk 8 Proj: 14 carries - 70 yards   3 catches - 25 yards    (% sure he'll score TD: 25%)

5. Roy Helu (37% owned) - A big suprise last week scoring 3 TDs, he had only 3 TDs in his career going into that game.  He should see carries here and produce decently.
Wk 8 Proj: 12 carries - 66 yards   2 catches - 20 yards    (% sure he'll score TD: 10%)

Others:
Mike Tolbert (16%) Proj: 7 carries 20 yards 0 catches (% sure he'll score TD: 50%)
Zac Stacy (10%) Proj: 13 carries 55 yards 1 catch 12 yards (% sure he'll score TD: 15%)
Mike James (1%) Proj: 17 carries 69 yards 1 catch 10 yards (% sure he'll score TD: 7%)

Fantasy Players You Can Cut

QB

Christian Ponder - Had decent production before he was hurt but not even top 20 QB worthy.  Now with his injury he might not even be the next QB in if they switch from Cassel, Freeman could be the new guy in MIN.

Matt Schaub - The Texans have been awful and Schaub is not a top 20 QB the rest of the season as he has thrown a ton of picks, got replaced this week by Yates at the end of the game, and HOU is a running team.

RB

Daryl Richardson - He only played 5 snaps last game after people thought he would be the main back in the offseason. Stacy got 20 carries last week and scored 9 fantasy points.

Rashad Jennings - With Darren Mcfadden back in the lineup getting the bulk of carries, Jennings short run is over.  He got only 4 carries and the only reason to hold on to him is for a handcuff to Mcfadden.
Jennings also has not scored a TD all year.

Montee Ball - This rookie can be cut and shouldn't be owned unless you want to handcuff Moreno.  He got on 3 carries and dropped two passes and the Broncos look like they don't trust him after his fumbling and catching problems this season.

WR

Tavon Austin - Another rookie who we had high expectations for but hasn't been the player we thought as in a quick guy to average a high number of yards after catch and yards per catch.  Also his role is diminishing as he isn't even in the game on half the snaps.

Eddie Royal - After his really hot start he has not got a lot of love.  He had 0 catches last game and his second highest yards total for a game this year is 42.  Also he hasn't scored since week 2.

TE

Brent Celek - The rookie Zack Ertz has taken on the role of TE and Celek saw limited snaps vs the Bucs on Sunday.

Fred Davis - He was replaced in the offense in almost all of the offensive packages and he was held without a catch Sunday vs DAL.

DEF

Houston - What was once a solid defense gave up 38 points to the Rams on Sunday and 35 the week before.

Philadelphia - The least amount of points they have given up this year is 26 and gave up 52 in a game vs the Broncos.

Note: For 10 team leagues, standard scoring

Sunday Projected QB RB WR Flames

Flames

QB
Robert Griffin III -- I expect RG3 and the Redskins to put up a ton of points against a bad Raiders team.  The secondary is very beatable and RG3 is due for a big game.  Look for him to make plays with his legs in this one too.
projected: 320 pass yards 3 touchdowns 1 int, 62 rush yards 1 touchdown

Other QB projected flames:
Andrew Luck: 290 pass yards 3 touchdowns, 23 rush yards
Tony Romo: 350 pass yards 2 touchdowns

RB
Darren Mcfadden -- The Redskins defense has been the worst in the NFL this season so far.  I expect the Raiders to run the ball often and get Mcfadden some big running holes.  Mcfadden really has't got going this year but he is finally healthy and I think he breaks out this week.
projected: 144 rush yards 1 touchdown, 4 catches 22 yards

Other RB projected flames:
Chris Johnson: 111 yards 1 touchdown, 2 catches 25 yards
Demarco Murray: 113 yards 1 touchdown, 1 catch 11 yards

WR
Wes Welker -- The Broncos have a number of nice options for Peyton Manning to throw to but Welker seems like his favorite. Welker will have a huge game in a shootout between two great offenses.
projected: 10 catches 114 yards 2 touchdowns

Other WR projected flames:
Larry Fitzgerald: 8 catches 87 yards 2 touchdowns
Reggie Wayne: 9 catches 122 yards 1 touchdown

Bold Fantasy Predictions

1. Jordan Cameron is the 3rd best fantasy TE

Cameron looks to be the go to receiver in Cleveland whether it's with Brandon Weden or with Brian Hoyer this week.  He is averaging 90 receiving yards a game and has four TDs.  Currently Cameron is second in yards, 2nd in catches and tied for first in touchdowns for TEs.  All behind or tied with Jimmy Graham.

Gronkowski's return should put Gronk back into the top TE consideration as Brady's favorite target and one of his only returning weapons from last season.  Cameron could prove to be the second best TE if Gronk struggles to comeback as good as he was the last couple of seasons.

2. Eddie Royal will have more TDs than Hakeem Nicks and Mike Wallace combined

Eddie Royal has started out this season as hot as any receiver could.  In his first two games he had 5 total receiving touchdowns and looks to be Philip River's favorite target in the red zone.  He could have been seen to have a bad week this week with only 34 yards and no TDs but he had a touchdown called back but holding and Rivers still looked his way a lot.

Nicks has zero TD catches this season and Manning has looked awful with 8 INTs and had 0 TD passes this week.  Wallace had an awful week 1 catching only one pass and then he scored the next week on a screen pass.  Tannehill does not throw the best deep ball where Wallace really excels at and I think this combo will not connect on many more scores this season.

I think Royal will get 10 TD catches this year, which is only 5 more this year for 13 more games, and Nicks will get 4 while Wallace also will get 5.

3.  Robert Griffin III will finish a top 5 fantasy QB

After 3 games RG3 has been a really big disappointment.  You would think this is true but he was drafted as the 7th or 8th QB and is currently the 11th best ranked fantasy QB.  This is not that bad of a place to be after seeing the Redskin offense look lost and RG3 not making many plays.  I believe he can really turn it around and have a great season.

To get to the top 5 RG3 would have to pass the likes of Rivers, Ryan, Newton, Luck, Stafford and Bradford.  Vick is in the top 4 and could easily fall out as well Rivers and Bradford seem like they do not belong in the top 10 at all.

Week 3 Elite Running Back Struggles

The Elite Running Backs are Struggling

Adrian Peterson: -- Averaging 90 yards rushing and a TD is average for AP but he hasn't had any of his typical huge games.

Arian Foster: -- He seems to be as healthy as ever but has not got rolling.  He only got 12 carries this week but he is averaging just over 60 yards rushing and has only one TD this season.

Ray Rice: -- 72 yards rushing combined in his first 2 games then missed his week 3 matchup.

Marshawn Lynch: -- Beast Mode had one huge week against SF where he got 3 TDs and 98 rush yards but his other two games he has no TDs and an average 112 rushing yards combined.

Doug Martin: -- Only has 1 TD all year and 19 total receiving yards.  He is putting up solid rush numbers though but he has been average.

CJ Spiller: -- Spiller left the week three game with a thigh injury and never got going that game with 9 rush yards on 10 carries.  He has also failed to score a TD this year and has not received the touches we thought he would (17 a game) or receiving yards (14 a game)

Trent Richardson: -- Averaging 46 rush yards a game and just changed his scenery to Indianapolis where Bradshaw should steal some of his carries.  Also he just scored his first TD this week in his first carry as a Colt.

Exceptions Jamaal Charles and Lesean Mccoy: -- They are both averaging over 125 yards per game total and have 3 and 2 touchdowns respectively.  You could also probably put AP here

Hot Waiver Wire Pickups Week 3

These are ranked in order you should pick them up.  All players are owned in under 60% of leagues.

RB

1- Knowshon Moreno -- Everyone thought that the Denver running back was going to be either Montee Ball or Ronnie Hillman but the job has clearly gone to Knowshon Moreno as he has seen the most work the first two weeks.  This past week he got 93 yards and two touchdowns.

2- James Starks -- With Eddie Lacy going down this week with a concussion Starks had a huge game with 132 yards rushing on 20 carries.  He should be a good start next week if Lacy doesn't return and could find a good role when he returns.

3- Fred Jackson -- CJ Spiller is still the back to own in Buffalo and he went top 5 in most drafts but Jackson still has a big role which many fantasy owners did not expect.  Jackson got 16 and 17 carries respectively in the first two weeks.

WR

1- Eddie Royal -- River's has been looking for a favorite target this year and I think he found it in Riyal. He had 3 touchdowns this week and 2 the week before.  Especially with Floyd out in San Diego Royal will have many balls thrown his way.

2- Deandre Hopkins -- He is the Texan's number two WR and now with Andre Johnson out with a concussion he will see even more balls his way. After a decent week 1 with 66 yards he had a huge week 2 with 117 yards and a game winning touchdown catch.

3- Marlon Brown -- Brown has scored in both weeks and will see a lot of targets with Jacoby Jones likely out another 3-4 weeks.

TE

1- Charles Clay -- He is very athletic who gets carries and catches.  He racked up over 100 yards and is a big weapon for Tannehill to hit and get extra yards after the catch with his speed and big body that is hard to bring down.

2- Coby Fleener -- A deeper league pick up because you don't know if he can be consistant with Dwayne Allen getting just as many targets at TE but Allen was hampered by an injury this week and Fleener came up big with 69 yards and a touchdown.  If Luck can rekindle some of the Stanford connection he could be a steal.

Week 2 WR Rankings/Projections

1 - Calvin Johnson (AZ) -- Megatron looks to bounce back from a poor fantasy week 1 performance but he had his TD reversed and had many other opportunities to have a big week so I wouldn't be worried about him. 10 catches 133 yards 2 TDs

2 - Larry Fitzgerald (DET) -- Fitzgerald looks revitalized working with his new quarterback Carson PAlmer who can get him the ball deep and often. 8 catches 92 yards 2 TDs

3 - AJ Green (PIT) -- Pitt is a tough D to play at but AJ Green looks like he could challenge Calvin Johnson for best WR in the NFL this year.  8 catches 126 yards 1 TD

4 - Andre Johnson (TEN) -- Johnson had a huge game last week in the yardage category but he needs to find his way into the end zone, I think he does this week.  9 catches 115 yards 1 TD

5 - Julio Jones (STL) -- Fitzgerald beat Finnegan multiple times last week and Julio is even faster than Fitzerald so I think Julio has a couple long receptions and a score.  7 catches 101 yards 1 TD

6 - Wes Welker (NYG) -- After a nice week one performance I think Welker builds on that with another nice game here.  11 catches 92 yards 1 TD

7 - Demaryrius Thomas (NYG) -- He should have another big game and get going earlier than the 4th quarter his time.  7 catches 84 yards 1 TD

8 - Brandon Marshall (MIN) -- He is definitely Cutler's favorite target and he will get plenty of opportunities and I think he has a nice game. 10 catches 80 yards 1 TD

9 - Vincent Jackson (NO) -- Jackson sees a lot of opportunities like Marshall and I expect him to have a ton of yards but not find the end zone as TB gets blown out.  12 catches 127 yards 0 TD

10 - Victor Cruz (DEN) -- I might be crazy for having him this low after his 3 TD performance but I think he only finds the end zone here once as NYG struggle.  6 catches 77 yards 1 TD

11 - Dez Bryant (KC) -- If he is healthy he is one of the most gifted WRs in the NFL and he faces a tough secondary here but he could still have a good game.  7 catches 74 yards 1 TD

12 - Reggie Wayne (MIA) -- Luck's favorite target can still get it done and Luck is poised for a big game in this one.  7 catches 72 yards 1 TD

13 - Randall Cobb (WAS) -- One of Rodger's favorite targets as he can get yards after the catch and make huge plays.  9 catches 122 yards 0.5 TD

14 - Pierre Garcon (GB) -- He is RG3's favorite target and most gifted WR so he should see alot of passes and I think he capitalizes on one and scores.  7 catches 66 yards 1 TD

15 - Jordy Nelson (WAS) -- Nelson had a huge game last week and I think he has another nice game but I'm not certain he will score.  8 catches 98 yards 0.5 TD

16 - Desean Jackson (SD) -- 8 catches 95 yards 0.5 TD
17 - Hakeem Nicks (DEN) -- 9 catches 110 yards 0 TD
18 - Marques Colston (TB) -- 7 catches 88 yards 0.5 TD
19 - Steve Smith (BUF) -- 9 catches 107 yards 0 TD
20 - Dwayne Bowe (DAL) -- 6 catches 58 yards 1 TD
21 - Julian Edlemen (NYG) -- 8 catches 82 yards 0.5 TD
22 - Mike Wallace (IND) -- 7 catches 95 yards 0 TD
23 - Cecil Shorts (OAK) -- 6 catches 96 yards 0 TD
24 - Miles Austin (KC) -- 7 catches 71 yards 0.5 TD
25 - ANquan Boldin (SEA) 6 catches 55 yards 1 TD

Week 2 RB Rankings/Projections

1 - Lesean Mccoy (SD) -- The Eagles are a running team and had 49 total runs on Monday Night.  Mccoy looked like the focal point of the offense and expect him to have a another huge game this week. 122 rush yards 2 TD, 4 catches 23 yards

2 - Jamaal Charles (DAL) -- He looked good last week until he got hurt and he even got a goal line carry for a touchdown.  Charles is the most dynamic weapon in Andy Reid's offense and Reid uses his often.  114 rush yards 2 TD, 5 catches 33 yards

3 - Adrian Peterson (CHI) -- His first carry of the season went for 78 yards and a touchdown and he had another score too.  I think he gets similar numbers this week.  88 yards 1 TD, 4 catches 42 yards 1 TD

4 - Doug Martin (NO) -- He struggled a little to get yards but had 24 carries and I expect bigger rush numbers this week.  102 yards 1 TD, 3 catches 22 yards

5 - Matt Forte (MIN) -- He catches a ton of passes and should get good yardage on the ground and air in this game. 74 yards 1 TD, 7 catches 62 yards

6 - Ray Rice (CLE) -- Last week Baltimore went away from the run but I think they get back to it this week and Rice has a big game. 88 yards 1 TD, 6 catches 43 yards

7 - Maurice Jones Drew (OAK) -- JAcksonville could not do anything last week but Henne should be an upgrade over Gabbert and that will help MJD and they play the Raiders run D.  108 rush yards 0.5 TD, 3 catches 28 yards

8 - Arian Foster (TEN) -- Foster was limited in this game due to injury but I think he gets 20 carries this game and has a solid performance.  91 yards 1 TD, 2 catches 16 yards

9 - CJ Spiller (CAR) -- Spiller had an early fumble that hurt his confidence and he had a poor game but this offense is based around him so I think he will shine vs Carolina.  77 yards 0.5 TD, 5 catches 42 yards 0.5 TD

10 - Reggie Bush (AZ) -- He is a huge weapon catching the ball and always makes long plays for monster gains when he gets his touches which he will.  66 rush, 8 catches 76 yards 1 TD

11 - Steven Jackson (STL) -- In his return to St. Louis you know he will be motivated to have a big game and he looked good last week when he broke a 50 yard run.  82 yards 1 TD, 4 catches 37 yards

12 - Demarco Murray (KC) -- He was tied for the fifth most rushing yards last week and he is one of the most dynamic backs when healthy.  81 yards 1 TD, 3 catches 22 yards

13 - Darren Mcfadden (JAC) -- Oakland uses him as the goal line back and he gets a ton of carries as the feature back, he has the ability to break a huge TD anytime.  76 rush 1 TD, 2 catches 18 yards

14 - Marshawn Lynch (SF) -- He struggled last week and has another tough matchup this week but I think he scores to help his day.  63 yards 1 TD, 4 catches 21 yards

15 - Trent Richardson (BAL) -- He struggled last week but I see more carries for him this week against a good run D in Baltimore.  60 yards 0.5 TD, 3 catches 31 yards

16 - Eddie Lacy (WAS) -- 64 yards 0.5 TD, 2 catches 14 yards
17 - Steven Ridley (NYJ) -- 48 yards 1 TD, 2 catches 11 yards
18 - Ryan Mathews (PHI) -- 63 yards 0.5 TD, 1 catches 12 yards
19 - Chris Johnson (HOU) -- 82 yards, 2 catches 16 yards
20 - Frank Gore (SEA) -- 67 yards 0.5 TD, 3 catches 22 yards
21 - Daryl Richardson (ATL) -- 55 yards, 4 catches 26 yards
22 - Rashard Mendenhall (DET) -- 68 yards, 3 catches 17 yards
23 - Darren Sproles (TB) -- 39 yards, 6 catches 42 yards
24 - Ahmad Bradshaw (MIA) -- 61 yards
25 - Lamar Miller (IND) -- 48 yards, 2 catches 23 yards

Week 1 Fantasy QB Rankings/Projections

1 - Peyton Manning (NYG) -- After his 7 TD performance Manning has a beatable opponent this weekend and he will have another huge game.  340 yards 3 TDs

2 - Aaron Rodgers (WAS) -- Vick didn't have trouble finding open receivers against them but didn't throw in the second half hardly so his stats were decent.  Expect Rodgers to throw alot and rack up the yards. 330 yards 3 TDs 12 rush yards

3 - Drew Brees (TB) -- A fairly hard matchup vs Revis and a very improved secondary but Brees always gets it done. 310 yards 3 TDs

4 - Matt Ryan (STL) -- Very beatable matchup as Carson Palmer threw for 327 yards last week on them and Atlanta has the best WR group in the NFL.  300 yards 3 TD

5 - Cam Newton (BUF) -- Newton had an extremely hard matchup last week but this week he should break out and put up big numbers.  265 yards 2.5 TD, 60 rush yards, 1 rush TD

6 - Tom Brady (NYJ) -- Brady a below average game last week by his standards but this week I think he goes for big yardage on the Jets.  300 yards 2 TD

7 - Robert Griffin III (GB) -- Monday's game got off to a slow start as RG3 barely got any snaps the first quarter and he couldn't get rolling till the end of the game.  Expect a better game from him this week.  292 yards 2 TD 1 INT, 42 rush yards

8 - Matthew Stafford (AZ) -- Stafford will make some mistakes but Calvin Johnson will have a bounce back game which will help Stafford get his stats.  271 yards 2.5 TD 2 INT, 14 rush yards

9 - Eli Manning (DEN) --You can't run on Denver so you need to throw on them and Flacco did it effectively last week and Manning will get his yards but throw some picks.  310 yards 2 TD 2 INT, 1 fumble

10 - Andrew Luck (MIA) -- Luck always gets it done and he will throw a lot this week against a much improved Miami team.  265 yards 2 TD 1 INT, 33 rush yards

11 - Tony Romo (KC) -- 290 yards 2 TD 1.5 INT
12 - Colin Kaepernick (SEA) -- 256 yards 2 TD, 34 rush yards 1 TD
13 - Michael Vick (SD) -- 240 yards 1.5 TD, 44 rush yards 1 TD
14 - Carson Palmer (DET) -- 272 yards 2 TD 2 INT
15 - Russell Wilson (SF) -- 255 yards 1.5 TD, 1 INT, 32 rush yards
16 - Jay Cutler (MIN) -- 240 yards 2 TD, 1 INT, 12 rush yards
17 - Terrelle Pryor (JAC) -- 224 yards 2 TD, 2 INT, 66 rush yards 1 rush TD
18 - Joe Flacco (CLE) -- 286 yards 1.5 TD, 1.5 INT
19 - Sam Bradford (ATL) -- 263 yards 1 TD 1 INT
20 - Phillip Rivers (PHI) -- 222 yards 2TD 2 INT

Week 1 Pickups

QB

Carson Palmer -- Palmer looked like an elite QB Sunday hitting his targets for 2 touchdowns and 327 yards passing.  Fitzgerald is still an elite receiver to go along with his other weapons like deep threat Michael Floyd and the speedy Andre Roberts.  Palmer threw for the 10th most yards and threw the 10th most passes Sunday.

Other QBs to consider picking up: Terrelle Pryor (112 rush yds)  Phillip Rivers (4 TDs)

RB

Knowshon Moreno -- There weren't very many breakout running backs this week but Moreno got the start at tailback for the Broncos and had a decent game getting 9 carries for 28 yards but he caught 3 passes for 37 yards.  Denver is a running back by committee but he will see the most carries, at least for the next couple of weeks.

Other RBs to consider: Pierre Thomas (43 rush yds, 4 catches) Joquie Bell (2 rush TDs, 67 receiving yards) Alfonso Smith (10 carries)

WR

Jerome Simpson -- There are a ton of WR for you to pickup but Jerome Simpson stands out.  He caught 7 balls for 140 yards on 8 targets and seems like Ponder's only deep threat.  Simpson is built like a track star and can burn DBs for long receptions.

Other WRs to consider: Rueben Randle (5 catches 101 yds) Harry Douglas (4 catches 93 yds) Julian Edlemen (7 catches 79 yds 2 TDs) Marlon Brown (4 catches 65 yds 1 TD) Leonard Hankerson (5 catches 80 yds 2 TDs)

TE

Julius Thomas -- The former college basketball player had a huge game Thursday night in Denver.  He came up huge time and time again in the first half with 2 touchdowns and long receptions.  He finished the game with a total of 110 receiving yards.

Other TEs to consider: Kellen Winslow (7 catches 79 yards 1 TD)  Dallas Clark (7 catches 87 yards)

Monday Night Game Fantasy Predictions

Eagles at Redskins -- (28-38)

QB - Robert Griffin III -- In his return from injury RG3 should have a big day against the Eagles and show he can pass from the pocket.  He might get loose a little too and get some scramble yards.  260 yards, 3 TDs, 2 int, 35 rush yards, 1 rush TD
Michael Vick -- His first game in Chip Kelly's offense will take some adjusting but I think we see Vick make some nice plays downfield and some mistakes too.  225 yards, 2 TDs, 1 int, 40 rush yards, 0 rush TD, 1 fumble

RB - Alfred Morris -- Morris should have a big game in this Monday night showdown and get a good amount of carries in a week where only 1 running back had over 100 yards rushing.  21 rushes, 90 rush yards, 1 touchdown, 3 catches, 25 receiving yards
Lesean Mccoy -- Shady Mccoy is one of the top fantasy backs and he should get a good amount of yards in this one as the focal point of the offense.  19 rushes, 105 rush yards, 2 touchdowns,  5 catches, 44 yards

WR - Desean Jackson -- I expect Jackson to have a big game as Vick's main receiving weapon he will see a lot of targets and get in the end zone a couple of times.  8 catches, 91 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 1 rush, 19 yards
Pierre Garcon -- Garcon will also see a lot of targets and get decent yardage with a score on a long TD.  6 catches, 76 receiving yards, 1 TD

TE - Fred Davis -- I think Davis will have a solid game getting yards after the catch and getting one score.  6 catches, 63 yards, 1 TD
Brent Celek -- Celek won't score but he will gain a decent amount of yards on seam routes up the middle.  Vick likes Celek as a target but I don't know if he will be that involved in Kelly's new offense.  4 catches, 46 yards

Texans at Chargers -- (24-14)

QB - Matt Schaub -- He plays a very beatable defense in the Chargers but I have a feeling the Texans lean on Foster and Tate this game.  Schaub will have a decent game with no turnovers.  245 receiving yards, 1 TD, 0 int, 11 rush yards
Phillip Rivers -- I think Rivers could surprise here and get a lot of throws in.  He doesn't have the best weapons but he still has his TE Gates.  290 yards, 2 TDs, 1 int

RB - Arian Foster -- Who knows exactly what his workload will be but he should score and break off some big runs.  Tate is expected to split carries with him too. 17 carries, 82 yards, 1 TD, 3 catches, 30 yards
Ryan Matthews -- This is not a good matchup for Matthews but I think this is his breakout year finally.  The Texans will keep him out of the end zone though but Matthews will get his carries still.  19 carries, 68 rush yards,  0 TDs, 4 catches, 18 yards

WR - Malcom Floyd -- He is River's best WR target but who knows if he is up to being the number one guy on a team.  Last year he had only 5 TDs and 800 yards but he is a good deep threat.  5 catches, 71 yards, 0 TDs
Andre Johnson -- Once he was the league's best or second best WR but now he is on a running team and he is getting older.  Johnson still has the ability to put up pro bowl numbers and huge games but he struggled to find the end zone last year.  9 catches, 103 receiving yards, 0 TDs

TE - Antonio Gates -- Like Andre Johnson, Gates was once the best TE in the NFL which is now Gronk or Graham.  Gates still has his QB Rivers and has excellent hands.  I think Gates has a big game here.  8 catches, 88 yards, 1 TD
Owen Daniels -- Daniels has been a successful fantasy TE and has good chemistry with Schaub.  Again they are a running team but Daniels is a lock for decent yardage.  5 catches, 51 yards, 0 TD

Sunday Surprises and Busts

Surprises

QB - Terrelle Pryor -- Pryor made some huge plays keeping the play alive and delivering passes on the run in key situations to keep the Raiders in the game vs the Colts on Sunday.  Pryor ran for 112 yards and threw for another 217 with a touchdown and two interceptions.  His passing numbers don't look great but a 40 yard touchdown pass was reversed when Mcfadden was an inch out of bounds and his last interception was at the end of the game in a desperation throw downfield.

RB - Shane Vereen -- The Patriots change of pace back really filled up the stat sheet with 101 yards on only carries and 58 receiving yards on 7 catches.  The starter Ridley really struggled with fumbles and wasn't effective.

WR - Julian Edlemen -- He looked like the Bills biggest problem at reciever as most of the hype in New England has been around Amendola and Thomkins, Edlemen had a big game.  He hauled in 7 catches for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Brady looks for Edlemen in the slot and in the red zone often.

TE - Jordan Cameron -- There were many breakout TEs but Cameron looks like he could be the next biggest TE of the bunch as he racked up 108 yards and 9 catches and a touchdown.  He also seems to be Weden's favorite target.

Busts

QB - Ben Roethlisberger -- Me and many others expected fairly big things from Roethlisverger this week but the Steelers looked horrible.  Big Ben had only 191 yards passing with an interception and a late game touchdown pass.

RB - There were so many I am just going to list top 25 fantasy RBs that had under 50 yards rushing and no TDs: CJ Spiller, Marshawn Lynch, Darrren Sproles, Mark Ingram, David Wilson, Steven Ridley, Maurice Jones-Drew, Trent Reichardson.

WR - Mike Wallace -- Wallace got only 5 targets Sunday and made one catch for 15 yards while Haartline had a huge game with 114 yards and a score.  Wallace had bad body language and looked upset even though his team won the game.

TE - Kyle Rudolph -- He had just 2 catches for 27 yards for a TE that you drafted in the top 8 TE range probably.  I wouldn't be concerned about him though because he was heavily targeted last season.

Start em' Sit em' Week 1

QB

Start em' :  Ben Roethlisberger -- He plays a very beatable defense in the Tennessee Titans and he threw for 363 yards against them last season.  The Steelers are also short on running backs due to injuries so he should pass more than usual.

Sit em' : Cam Newton -- You selected him as your every week starter but I would sit him for the likes of Vick, RG3, or Luck this week who were selected in much later rounds.  He faces the Seahawk defense who alowd the second least points to quarterbacks last season and they have been game planning for option QBs all offseason because of fear of Kaepernick.

RB

Start em' : Ben Tate -- The Texans face possibly the worst team in the league in San Diego and Arian Foster is banged up so expect Tate to get 20 carries and 90 yards with a TD.

Sit em' :  Eddie Lacy -- There is a lot of hype around this rookie and I like him this season but not this week.  The Packers take on the 49er's run defense that allowed the second least rushing TDs and rushing yards last season.

WR

Start em' : Desean Jackson -- He was miserable against the 3rd worst pass defense in the league last year in the Redskins with 2 catches for 5 yards combined, but I expect a huge game here.  This game will be a shootout and Jackson is Vick's big deep threat with Maclin out.

Sit em' : Kenny Britt -- You really should sit him as he plays last years best pass D in Pitt and they have a healthy Polomalu and Ike Taylor will be matched up on him.  Play a Miles Austin, Chris Givens or Anquan Boldin over him this week.

TE

Start em' : Brandon Myers -- I think we see a shootout in Dallas this weekend and Myers could grab a touchdown or two.

Sit em' : Jordan Cameron -- He has been seen as a good fantasy play after his 2 TD preseason game but he has a groin injury he is facing and the Dolphins gave up only 3 TDs to TEs all of last season.

Start em' : Buccanears -- The Bucs are facing the Jets who have no offensive weapns besides Holmes who is recovering from injury and a rookie quarterback who does not look ready to start.  Geno Smith threw three picks and stepped out of the end zone in his last game.

Sit em' : Packers --  They face a 49er's team that scorched them in the playoffs and the Niner's are one of the top teams in the league who could dominate this game possibly.
